RE:Special divvy?

RE:Special divvy?Last year the trust paid out $0.3867 in distributions including the $0.22 special distribution (the quarterly distribution was only raised to $0.075 in November so the special distribution made up for the lower distributions during the first half the year).

DRI intends to distribute 20-30% of cash earnings. Last year cash earnings were $1.85 so the amount distributed (21%) was pretty much at the lower target of 20%.

This year I expect cash earnings to be around $1.92 so the range of distribution will be $0.385 to $0.575. As DRI will have already distributed $0.30 this year by way of quarterly distributions, the amount of the special distribution should be between $0.085 and $0.275. If they target towards the lower range as they did last year it could come in around $0.10. I am expecting them to aim more for the mid range this year bringing the special distribution to $0.18. Either way the total distributions declared for the year will surpass last year. Nothing to be disappointed about.
