Why it's In Rockcliff's Interest To Drill At Talbot! Now!!Rockcliff may continue to explore new untested targets and infill and step out drill, all the small deposits the Snow Lake area that it has already discovered. But to do so, they will have to continue to dilute the share price. And in the short run, it won't help the share price much, if at all!
Hudbay would prefer to mine larger scale deposits. And the likelyhood of Rockcliff finding another Lalor sized deposit in the near term seems remote at best. Especially since it appears that the focus is now on expanding the deposits that it has already found.
With another potential Lalor sized deposit, sitting at Talbot, why would Hudbay show any interest in developing any of these smaller deposits, in partnership with Rockcliff, in the near term?
I can't emphasize this enough! Talbot must be drilled!
If Rockcliff can't get Hudbay to participate, then they should drill it on their own and send Hudbay the bill. They have to pay! That's their legal obligation. And no party would want to get involved in unnecessary litigation!
Rockcliff can muse all it wants, with other outside potential financial partners, about developing these small mines, using mobile milling machines, without the need to partner with Hudbay.
However, all such efforts to date, have miserably failed!
They even admit this when they say times are tough in the mining sector.
Well I say that they are not! It's just that times are tough, in Snow Lake!
At the present time, Hudbay calls all the shots here!
Elsewhere, the mining sector is hot right now and it's not tough at all!
I am in disbelief that they continue to use this kind of excuse for their continuing failure!
Shareholders want to see success! Rockcliff still has some time to prove me wrong. But time is running out! The real action, appears to be happening, everywhere else!
If they still want to pursue the original option of discovering, potential new mines, jointly with Hudbay, then it would be best if they could determine the ultimate value of the Talbot mine.
If Talbot is has a huge resource, then Hudbay would be tied up in its development for many years to come. They would have little interest or none in developing any other smaller scale mines at all!
At the same time, if a Talbot mine of that scale went ahead, then Rockcliff would receive a significant amount of capital to pursue any kind of mining activity that it chose to do.
If it was determined by further drilling that Talbot is a mine of much less significance, then the joint/venture option, might be considered by Hudbay, as the best choice of action to pursue at this time.
This is so obvious to me that it greatly surprises me that Rockcliff management, hasn't yet figured this out. They have shown considerable brilliance at exploring other mining options in the past.
What other sensible option, do they really have?
They need to finish their drilling at Talbot!
If they don't, then we can expect the share price to remain at 2 cents for some considerable time!
Merry Christmas! Java
