Remarkably curious transactions. Perhaps without legitimacy.

Remarkably curious transactions. Perhaps without legitimacy.
While some poster here have a cavalier attitude towards financials, and blow them off as being "inconsequential", I don't share that mindset.

On December 31, 2021, Pyrogenesis owned 26,752,600 shares of HPQ, worth $12,306,196 at the time.

On April 20th, 2022, the company acquired an additional 6.8 million units of shares and warrants of HPQ by way of a non-brokered private placement for $0.53 for total consideration of $3,604,000.

As of September 30th, the company owned 22,928,100 shares of HPQ, worth $5,044182, as of this past Friday's close.

These are the company's "strategic investments"

They comprise the better part of the "Cash, cash equivalents and publicly traded shares at September 30, 2022 of $8.3 M" referred to in the Q3 earnings release.

The actual cash component of that number is $2,364,861.

Pyrogenesis sold 7,942,000 shares of HPQ in the first 6 months of this year.

In the ensuing 3 months, the third quarter, Pyrogenesis has sold an additional  2,682,500 shares of HPQ for net proceeds of $750,390.

The company bought 6.8 million units of HPQ for $0.53 in April, and then sold 2.68 million shares of HPQ only months later, during the third quarter, at an average price of $0.02797.

The questions become "What is this "strategy",  and "Who's "strategy" is it?"

Somebody is trading with your money.

Somebody is speculating with it.

It's in the millions.
