New Data for past yearOntario has seen a 67% increase in total beverage sales, From dec 1st 2020 to Dec 1st 2021 beverage sales where 1.9% of gross pot sales from dec 1st 2021 to dec 1st 2022 beverags sales where 3.3% of gross sales. Now the government has increased the per visit by 9.6 times the original 5 units per visit. This companies presentation shows expected sales in 2023 of 3.75 million in Q1, 4.2 million in Q2, 4.6 million in Q3 and 5 million in Q4. Units sales of 1 million in Q1, 1.1 million in Q2, 1.3 million in Q3 and 1.5 million in Q4. All these presentation are based on the old units per visit numbers of 5 per visit. The question now is what will the company do, now that those units per visit have been sharply increased? Will they update their presentation? Will those update reflect the gov survey data which is showing a 400% increase expected in 2023 or will they reflect the 9.6 times the previous numbers showing the full per visit increase? Will they show the increase in stores expected in 2023? Gross sales numbers will be influenced by these four things, New stores opening in 2023, penetration numbers for all stores, the actual average takeout numbers per visit and the number of visits per month. Within the first 90 days the sales number increases will become much clearer and the summer spike in sales can be estimated to a better degree. This is just a guess on my part but based on my data it suggests this companies sales could increase by 420% by dec 1st 2023.
