RE:MMX was not shopped around.....I paid 5 bucks not that long ago and also felt that the buyout price was too low. They have a fabulous nsr stream from KRRGF, and they are doubling their production. It is one reason that I bought in. It seems to me that the recent uptick is more related to Triple Flag's increase in S/P. I have the circular but haven't had time to peruse it yet. I suspect that there is probably a substantial break up penalty attached to the deal which would pretty much eliminate the "shop it around" aspect. You make a good point, but who knows how well these people knew one another. Sometimes that can play into a situation.
