Volume something strange

Volume something strange The volume shown in ScotiaIrade and on Yahoo finance is 70K on the TSX. It did not change much from the 65K despite a 30K and 20K purchase just being made. I know since I am sitting here with a friend who did it because I recommended it. Weird?
