Gold Is A Big Winner in 2022

2022 saw stock markets crash but gold outperformed is is closing out the year neutral which is a big win.

The S&P started out the year at 4,818 and has crashed to 3,783 as of yestereday, a 21.5 percent decline.

Gold started out the year at about $1,825 and as of currently is at $1,813, essentially flat on the year.

Oil and gold were the top winners this year.  As things get easy in 2023 expect gold and oil to soar.
