RE:40th Store!

RE:40th Store!

I thought the Norwood Hotel 'Beer Store' location was next.  They have signage up and an 'Opening soon' sign in the window.  Last week the Beer Store guy said it was to open by the end of the month.

So are you saying that the Marion Hotel is also getting a Delta 9 store?  That would seem a little concentrated ... two stores within a mile on the same strip.  I do have to admit though that you get quite a different demographic between the two bars so it may still make sense despite the relative store proximities.

With no profits for shareholders in sight with all the this expansion I guess Delta 9 is using the ol' Subway strategy.  Despite significant store losses in the begining Subway opened a quazillion stores on a wish and a prayer creating the appearence of success and popularity would fool the market and it would capture enough market share and cashflow before the house of cards implodes.

Very risky strategy and so unnecessary, imo.  With profitability probably possible right now if that was their focus.  Just glad that these Beer Store locations don't require more shareholder-diluting 'competitor bailout' from us.
