Went for a random 25 minute walk the other day in the Kensington area of Vancouver. Saw one house being demolished, with a pulled permit to rebuild. As well, eleven new houses and two duplexes, at various stages of construction. Driving a bit the next day on a short trip to Home Depot, saw what looked to be a 30 or 40 rental or condo building under construction, and HD's parking pretty full, and store was busy. It was a small sampling in a large city, but I don't have any reason to know why it would be much more than a slight +/- anomoly over many areas of the city. And it was a rather large amount in that smallish area. This wasn't a prediction, nor crystal ball. It was 100% reality.
Small sample size. Nice try.
