The Company’s principal asset is the Great Atlantic salt deposit project (Great Atlantic Salt Project), located in the St. George Basin of western Newfoundland. Its Gypsum Project is three kilometers (km) southwest of Great Atlantic salt deposit, which is an early-stage and open-pit production from the Ace deposit. Its Nepheline Syenite Property consists of a surface occurrence of nepheline syenite along the southern Labrador highway. The project is located approximately six km from tide water.

Cargill's Cayuga salt mine is the deepest mine in North America and supplies most of the salt used in New York state. Keep all that in mind as you watch this Youtube video.

So i think what most people are missing here is how close this mine is to the Marcellus Shale area of PA. Little to the North sits Lake Cayuga, with the Cargill mine underneath. Shale areas are fracked and leave big voids once emptied and thus are known to have a high incidence of earthquakes. Once that ground starts to go, all hell can break loose. Cargill might be wise to have a backup llan...
