Regardless, I sold my shares today at a nice profit & will look to get back in at a lower price before the next divy date.
I just can't see DBM staying over $6 in the short term.
TD Investments consensus earnings for 4th Q is negative .02 to positive .05 EPS.
Not a big fan of the effect (on the SP) of beating or not beating consensus earnings.
DBM shouldn't have a problem beating the consensus but the decline in earnings could be significant.
Lumber future have been under $400 for 15 straight days. DBM managed a small profit two & a half years ago at these levels but it's doubtfull that would happen today. There's no consensus for 1st Q 2023, no doubt due to the uncertainty as to where the economy is headed.
