While they can eyeball the interim results and get some sense of what is happening, the actual results require doing some statistical tests after ensuring we only have a complete and useable set of data.

So I agree they likely have ideas about the results now, but the actual announceable results that are criitical to disclose if completely bad would likely wait a while.
