RE:new reservesI find it interesting that as early as August their valuation slide showed resources of 410,000 ounces, which was an increase from May's total at 170,000 ounces. After today's press release their resources are 407,000 ounces. Essentially, they have told us all along the resource number with Cordero included in their presentations. Hence, had the earlier 410,000 ounces been without Cordero, a 600k figure would have been appropriate.
There's a near clone of Soma Gold called Mako Mining (MKO.V) operating in a much more dicy country of Nicaraugua. It's market cap is C$112 million or 3.7 times higher than Soma is today of C$30 million. Mako should produce more Gold this year than Soma but not that much more. Once the market shows this little miner some love, I'd expect it to catch up with the likes of Mako in terms of cash flow multiple (EBITDA).
