Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

Not sure what you are looking at but the market had a nice pop out of the opening as I thought. Contrary to your statement no one is actually looking for or wanting a bad recession, nor high unemployment for that matter. What they want is for a softening of the labor market and wages. We got a bit of both in the U.S. report. Earlier released numbers were revised downward and wage increase pace was cut in half of last months report (although last month report was also revised down). All things that will help in peaking intererst rates as I have been suggesting for awhile now. I see Canada job numbers came in hoter than expected though. Will be interesting to see if we remain in tandem with the U.S. market trading.
