RE:RE:RE:RE:Windfall taxes

PMSL.  Yeah, he seems really worried about the wrath of Western Canada.

Me: "The only government in the world not talking about imposing windfall taxes."

Response:  "They would if they could".   and my favourite:  " But his Dad"  LOL

Turns out I was wrong.  The article posted they are talking about them.

About not needing them!

LOL

Not good enough for the far rights that inhabit the board and don't want to talk about the stock.

"But it is Trudeau's fault they are imposing windfall taxes in Europe and the UK"

LOL.  Again.

You should thank this Canadian Federal government for being fair and transparent with their tax laws compared to the rest of the world including the lauded free states of america that imposed a buy back tax with very little forewarning.  Canadian companies can buyback for an entire year with no tax.  America had to ramp up their repurchses this year or pay next year.

Nope, the government is still anti-business.  Anti-energy in fact even though O&G are the only corprations in Canada that have any cash for buybacks.

If I "DRONE" on about the windfall tax in the EU it is because it affects VET directly.

You guys remember VET?  The reason this board exists to discuss what happens to the stock?

Well some of you do!

GLTA of those who do!

You can only push someone so far until they snap. They're already talking about ignoring Ottawa on a lot of it's industry destroying policies.  This would cause the birth of the new country of Albertastan .
