Ucore had to walk away from that Iron clad agreement.  There was no way they could win in that setup.
Steve and gang still controled MRT, If they bought IBC it would be an empty shell.  Steve and gang controled the patents, not IBC.  Ucore would need Steve and gang to develop MRT rare earths to the commercial level.  Ucore would not get that if they just bought the company.  We all thought that Steve was very poor business man but he knew enough to set it up so his company could not be bought out from under him.  Him being the largest share holder.  Which would let him to sell options to buy IBC and not have to do it.  Nice scam, how much did Ucore pay him for that option.  Not once but twice.
Which is why Ucore bought RSX outright to start.
