RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Windfall taxesIt wasn't Trudeau that dropped the bottom out of the global oil price.
He nor any other PM has that kind of global influence so I am not sure why you are blaming him.
Windfall taxes may curb investment in jurisdictions that impose them.
Canada is not imposing them. That would encourage investment here ...no?
I am not supressing anything. I have no control here.
Keep it about VET and I am sure the stockhouse moderators will leave you alone.
The Ireland windfall tax and tax pools have the most direct effect on revenues atm.
I try to discuss them because I believe them to be relevant. Your censorship phobias are not.

Last time I looked ,VET did not exist in a vacuum . The very existance of the Windfall taxes is proof of that . So while you fuss about the mechanics (which are unknowable at this time other than what has been released ) I for one am much more concerned by the investment climate . VET is seriously undervalued on any financial basis. Only an improvement in the investment climate will change that. Not only is that not happening in Canada ,but it is getting worse. Trudeau had a wonderful opportunity when he first appeared to make things better , he completely blew it !!!
