RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Just Fire KH The fundamental value is the same. Of course, the management knows better what it is doing, even as they receive unwarranted criticism from a few besserwissers. For sure it is hard to see the share drop when they temporarily have paused the buybacks. And of course, it is not done to harm long-term or annoy short-term owners, but most likely an indication that they need this liquidity for a possible purchase of producing assets in order to enhance the company's cash flow, which would probably be wise ahead of other projects.
The management is doing their best to continue to develop the company despite ignorant investors spewing bile in forums as soon as the price dips. Mostly unfounded complaints about salary and benefits, about unfulfilled "promises" some even wants to replace the management. These people blame the management because they are not successful with their trading or they have sold and want to get in cheaper. Other are not, even if they think so themselves, competent for the task to lead a company but just has to whine and complain about decisions without having any idea of the background as to why the management chooses to act in different ways. Still they think they know best how to create shareholder value. Just because some expected value creators did not happen within the last quarter the company still need to go on with in its main task of managing invested capital well by making decisions that build up assets, create a stronger more profitable company which also has been done since they partly farmed out their Kenya assets and reinvested taking the exceptionally good decision to invest in Nigeria paid for itself in just over 2 years and the investment in Impact Oil where Venus value will create significant values. AOI is a healthy low-leverage company on the way to strong growth, especially because management is doing what they're supposed to do, and they're doing it well.
