RE:RE:RE:Ernieandbert and KFrozen you are correct. We have a lot more security given it is the cobalt that's being distributed as a dividend. We physically have possession of it in Fort Saskatchewan. It lands in Halifax and from that point forth it is in our possession. So it is harder for them to renege.

The fact that the Cubans have also accepted to dividend out Cobalt instead of say $ US 57 million is significant. Opens up a lot of possibilities.Maybe they can monetize the swap, maybe not. Hey, with the appropriate discount rate, everything can be done. Sherritt could also hedge their cobalt dividend right now as well as the Energas dividend portion. Or part of it. Who knows, but they sure have a lot of alternatives that were not there before.
Of course, Energas/CUPET did not respect their agreements in the past : the Cubans were short of forex locally. Sherritt has made sure that Energas flowthrough are done through Moa, so this problem is now solved. Energas venture is now worth a lot more than before. No idea how much but not quasi 0 prior to the deal. And this is not reflected in the share price. Gee, Sherrit was trading sub .40 when they annonce the deal. They rerated less than 100 millions since that deal.
