Neither of these is a large issue as you can see from the rapid expansion that is occurring, but why would anyone want to dilute their position in the most prospective properties in the world to do a deal in the US?  IVN has basically an endless stable of prospective assets to grow.    The only thing that could make this company grow faster than it already is, is more human resources and more capital, and neither of them are located at Ivanhoe Electric.
