RE:Passenger Trains coming back to Timmins ....If they trains are going to Timmins, they are going to need to lay new track, because they pulled out of Timmins decades ago and the tracks are degraded and rotton.

The Trains only go as far as Porquis Junction near the Kidd Creek Met Site. The old Northlander stopped in Matheson on its way to Cochrane, and Timmins passengers needed to board shuttle buses to get to Timmins.

Are the trains going to Timmins, or will they restore the service as it was in 1998 with shuttle buses to Timmins?
