Royal Helium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, with a primary focus on the production and development of helium and associated gases and is currently producing helium from its Steveville project in Southern Alberta. Its helium reservoir at Steveville is carried primarily with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas (GHG) and therefore have a low GHG footprint when compared to plants in other jurisdictions that rely on large scale natural gas production for helium extraction.

RHC.v secures partner to liquefy its Helium
 
Royal Helium (RHC.v RHCCF) closed in the green today after announcing that it has signed a 3-year tolling services agreement with Tumbleweed Midstream.
 
Under this agreement, Tumbleweed will process Royal's 99.999% gaseous helium into liquid helium. 
 
Refined helium gas will be delivered from RHC's Steveville Helium Plant (currently under construction) to Tumbleweed's facility in Colorado. 
 
This agreement is big for RHC as liquefaction is a crucial step in its production process and its off-take partner's purchase process.
