Bioasis Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based biopharmaceutical company focused on research and development of technologies and products intended for the treatment of patients with nervous system, including central nervous system, diseases and disorders. The Company is engaged in the development of its xB 3 platform, which is a peptide-based technology, for the transport of therapeutic agents, in particular biological products, across the blood-brain barrier (BBB). The Company is also focused on its Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) platform for treating rare and orphan neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory disorders. EGF is a protein that stimulates cell growth and differentiation, notably for myelin producing cells. Its development programs include xB3-001: Brain Metastases, xB3-002: Glioblastoma and xB3-007: Neurodegenerative Disease.

poof asks why the Midatech stock is trading so low.

Midatech is essentially being bought out by LT and The Placee who will own over 75% of the company.

Why would Midatech investors feel any different about that than Bioasis shareholders feel?

Midatech had Q-Sphera and their other assets before this deal. Those assets can't fix a problem for MTP shareholders that has been made worse by LT and The Placee.
