Your timeframe determines your RSI, your stock is just an innocent bystander, says nothing about your stock.
Yeah, we all understand what it is supposed to say. Every now and then it is correct. Better than 50%? Who knows. Flipping a coin is going to get you 50% too. But that only applies to YOUR timeframe. If you are holding longterm the 365 days is more likely to apply and will have a different RSI.
You are assuming everybody has the same timeframe of trading as yourself.
For all these reasons it is a totally meaningless figure. Probably why nobody is posting about it anymore.

The RSI number will tell you whether its prudent to buy or not.....its pretty basic
