Is the Federal Gov't going to buy Xebec?

Is the Federal Gov't going to buy Xebec? The first thing I thought of when I saw the bizarre headline below is that the Finance Minister needed money put aside to buy Xebec. Turns out the money was asked for back in the November Economic Update. Not too many details, but it probably gives the federal government the ability to act quickly and quietly to pick up companies that they think have value.
