5-7% Returns are nothing get to work and make that money back!

Here is an infomercial to those that have not moved on from this disaster of a stock. It really was a substantial hit to me especially in the registered accounts with no Capital losses allowed but all is good again as I am moving back to all time highs.

All are picks that have been mentioned here numerous times and are all 6 month returns using Yahoo Finance

RET.A up 248.24% how about that whognu
CIA up 69.73%
ARG up 31.03%
AEP up 83.72%  I have only been in around 3 months check on the AEP board
KEI up 207.69% I have only been in around 5 weeks check that board
3 other names that I think are posed for similar results are FAR. CEU and SLS

This names are part of a roughly 35 name portfolio with RET.A currently the largest position at around 6%

Agreed......still some huge opportunities out there......and you've found a great number of them.  Obviously some luck but likely more research......scanning the before the market news and just bloody staying on top of things I would assume.  And then more research....more research.....more research.
RET.A was an excellent heads up by you.....and made me a bunch of money once I decided to get invested more heavily a while back.  I like stories where no matter how you look at it the stock should be trading much higher than it is.  Thanks !  Still frustrates me when I should be trading at more than double where it is but oh well.  Seems to be moving in the right direction finally.
I actually also bought some SLS a month or so ago on weakness.  Good chance of a double or more.....a little more volatile than I would expect though.  But hey I guess that's how I bought it under $6.
That being said I'm still leery about putting too much money to work in this market.....and have what amounts to north of 50% in cash earning 3.8% in an ISA that can be re-deployed at any time.
I think there will be even more bargains out there in the future.....late spring and summer that may make your head spin.

Hello Babe was travelling the last couple of days but have arrived at the winter accomadations now. I would like to think it is more than luck but you are probably right. I have a different view of the current market and had decreased my Can banks and a few other safer bets to go in a little deepeer on KEI,AEP, FAR. and SLS around a month ago. So far it is paying off.  Fully invested and have never gone much to the cash side just reallocating from risk to safer bets within the market. I really should look at increasing my cash as i am retired now. Also of note I have a pretty good Bullpen of possible new entrants to the portfolio including  HPS-A, TSL and drx to name a few.but No position yet.
