I can't think of a more boring investment than mining stocks.....i know this is a great property but the dead zone is painful.
Fire the assay company and let's get moving.....Magna Mining had two releases in the span of two weeks.

Yes it is painful to watch especially the past month with the price of gold moving higher every week and the gold juniors stuck in the mud. The major producers have been in a steady climb for a couple of months now so this is normal for most bull markets in the gold sector. I have witnessed it often. Unfortunately the juniors are the last to move however you always see the largest gains with them so it's worth the wait.

As for Snowline and the long wait times for assays it has been an ongoing issue throughout the industry in Canada since covid. Actually there have been a lot of industries affected by many changes with the workforce and workplace protocols. I think a large segment of the workforce decided to throw in the towel and take early retirement and they just haven't been replaced so a lot of experience has simiply vanished from certain sectors of the economy. The airline industry is one that comes to mine.

I know Scott Berdahl and Snowline will be using several different labs to try and speed up the process but I'm not so sure that will help much given that the delays seem to exists right across Canada. I think the industry needs to change to a new method of non destructive testing that has been recently introduced in Canada called Chrysos PhotonAssay Lab Testing. I believe it originated in Australia. This new type of testing should speed things up throughout the industry once it gets adopted by most labs. See below for details of the science behind it. Very quick efficient method of testing and the rock samples can be kept unlike the old fire assay way of testing in which the entire sample is destroyed. New Found Gold have sent samples to the Val D'Or Quebec lab to get tested using the Chrysos testing along with other mining companies.
