volume literally flatlined "Back to virtually unchanged now at $2.12 on 518,000 shares.
This is perfect.
Give us over 800,000 shares and new highs and the next big upleg will officially have started"
That was at 1:32.
Volume died.
I don't recall having seen such a sudden evaporation in volume.
Not in recent history anyway.
After trading 180,000 shares within minutes of the opening, the stock traded 75,230 shares in the last 2 1/2 hours.
The market wasn't "cooperating".
Markets were weak all day in the US, and buyers had little incentive.
It didn't take much selling to move the stock lower.
We can read far more from moves on volume than we can from moves during periods of illiquidity.
Am I disappointed we didn't make a new high today?; of course.
Am I worried about it ?; not in the least.
Tomorrow is another day.
Meanwhile the 52-week high is now down to $2.68 from $3.10 less than 2 weeks ago,
and headed much lower very quickly.
This will be on the new high list soon enough.
