RE:Ridge

RE:RidgeI like the balls saturns management team is showing....

International Petro Corp was basically started and did well buying cheap Cenvous assets nobody wanted yearsa ago....and they are a sucess.

Bold moves are good.  Isnt enough M&A and many management teams are too conseravtive....companies can shivel up and die if they ony focus on divy's and share buy backs.

Bizarre deal.  I surprised Saturn didnt partner and sell the alberta stuff...especially the cardium and deer mountain stuff.

Obviously a cheap price they paid. But also isnt many bidders as Ridgeback owned a really bizarre portfolio...I think Ridgeback was worth more split into pieces.

Positive thing is isnt much flush production if charlie lake stuff is not in.  Decline rate should be low on legacy stuff.

Wouldnt shock me too see Saturn unload either Cardium or Deer Lake by next year.
