stockitnow, thx. Funny how the US biz jet mkt is so big, that any big gain in Middle East and Asia is currently overshadowed by even small changes here, and to a much smaller extent, Europe.  So Bomber mgmt can get a much bigger bang for their time here, for now, but hopefully they keep cultivating the SE Asia and Middle East seeds.  An example is Martel attending the F1 race in Singapore late last year.  Great to see. The potential is enormous.

stockitnow wrote: Truthifest, you are correct SE has not been very strong but they are seeing tremendous wealth growth.  In the past high net worth individuals and businesses travelers did not see the advantage of private jets.  And they were correct, pre covid the airlines were thriving and there were dime a dozen airlines, most offering really cheap flights and frequency was not an issue.

After covid, alot of airlines reduced frequency and pricing has gone up.  Which helps private jet charter market.  But the biggest driver is covid and how it cripples air travel and can spread infection.  Recall Asia struggled with this.  Now these high net worth individuals will play safe and use private jet.

The biggest driver in SE wont be individual buyer but jet sharing.  Watch more private jet operators expand or new one prop up.  Middle east is already doing this and watch them expand into India.  Qatar airlines have a business jet division called Qatar executive, they have Global 5000 and Gulfstream G650ER, G500/600.  I won't be surprised if they order Global 8000.

I am optimistic that private jet is set to take off in SE, the population is there, wealth is there and the need is there.  Japan and South Korea is also under served.  Slowly, business are now seeing advantage of private jets and will make the jump.  Patients for now my friend.  It is Slowly happening.

Truthifest wrote: Stockitnow, what are ur thoughts on the SE Asia mkt for private jets like Bombardier sells?  It's a small mkt currently, but a ton of wealth has been created there over the last decade and more, and intra-regional and inter-regional distances are often large, so sure seems like huge potential for increased jet sales, dramatically so, I would think, especially now w China reopening.  Are there big demand barriers to that, tho, such as not enuf airports and/or airport facilities, cultural limitations, etc?
