QIPT and previous reverse splits
I'm not taking anyone's side here but it's important to understand today's value of QIPT relative to what it was back in the days of PTQ / PHM.
As I recall, PTQ split 1 for 5, and QIPT split 1 for 4. This means that for every 1,000 shares of orginal PHM you now have 50 shares of QIPT.
Similarly, you need to divide today's QIPT share price by 20 to get back to an equivalent price of original PHM. 7.94 / 20 is $0.397.
I know for myself, back in the D&G days I believed their story and my average price was $1.50. I since sold for the loss but did repurchase later when QIPT showed signs of being a real business.
But, while my position might look green today I very much doubt QIPT will get to $30 / share which is what I would need to actually break even.
I hope QIPT will succeed, and at least get to the mid to high teens, but it won't make up for the crapstorm from 2016-->2020.
