The Game of Chicken Continues

The Game of Chicken Continues I will say that I really expected Glencore to raise their offer before they filed the paperwork. I was wrong about that.

GLencore also seems to have upped their negative prospsects facing the company if their buyout vote is rejected in todays press release.

As others have said, there are risks to rejecting this offer. However, if somebody who has run the plant before is part of that new board I am willing to take this risk. I am worried about concentrate sourcing, but I believe a new board to look at the "arrangements" Glencore has with the smelter far outweigh this risk - there is lots of concentrate available these days.

DOes anybody know if GLencore can SELL their 25% interest? I guess what I am asking is are they special shares that Glencore holds or common shaers.

NO to the buyout. Yes to new directors.
