RE:RE: Hammerdown FS Compared with MAE/Point RousseYes, you refer to the crushing and on-site sorting plant ( concentrator ) to be installed at the HammerDown mine which I recall would cost about $25 million or so.
That would reduce both milling and transportation costs.
I ignored this option , assuming that the $5 million US saved annually by eliminating the 40 km extra distance to Nugget Pond would easily cover those benefits .
The concentrator would reduce haulage tonnage by about 40% , essentially about the same haulage when NuggetPond extra costs are removed
But, the concentrator is an excellent idea, if robust capital were available ...and would improve the cash flows as estimated in the table below, as grades would increase by about 40-50 %.
This could be delayed by a year after which production generated cash flows could fund the needed capital.
