Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

Buyout within 3-10 days...not likely...and unless the options expired within the next few days that would be stupid of them to exercise before the announcement...they would be leaving a lot in the table in the difference between option price and market price.

Everyone of these option holders at this point should be holding and avoid exercising until the very last minute...if they believe a deal is close. 


I will say unless you know the exercise expiry date of these that were exercised...it would be hard to draw any conclusions.

it definitely is NOT bearish for them to exercise option and take difference between the current share price and Grant price though(basically taking cash) rather than having to come up with significant cash to purchase that amount of shares. Need a deal to stop all this yearly after yearly dilution though without significant actions adding to value of asset! Maybe if we actually see them get permitted (finally) that would be an accomplishment!
