RE:No interestMartyboss, Greenstone Resources continues to participate in these cheap private placements. Since they have a significant ownership in the company, it is in their best interest to help keep the company alive.
At the same time, since they also already hold more than 50% of the company, their continuing purchasing of Rockcliff shares at these inexpensive prices makes it much easier for them to make a cheaper takeover bid, anytime in the near future. The longer it takes for this to happen, the cheaper it will cost them.
If this is their primary objective now, to privatize this company or acquire it, then at some point every shareholder will be offered, some limited amount of capital, for all of their shares.
If this is their intention, and since they are now the majority shareholder, then it wouldn't make much sense for Rockcliff Metals to make any legitimate effort to find another buyer or miner who might be interested to mine any of Rockcliff's properties. Greenstone has Rockcliff management under their thumb.
That is a problem when any single investment group is allowed by the rules to take such a majority position without being forced to immediately submit a takeover bid. Their continued ability to dilute the retail shareholder's position is a detriment to the value of the latter's original investment.
In this situation, company management has no other option than to follow the bidding of such a majority shareholder's wishes.
In no way is this supposition to be interpreted by anyone as a fact. But it is a real possibility that every potential investor in Rockcliff Metals, should fully understand.
Just because no one may be buying now at the retail level in the open market, doesn't mean that at some point, some final takeover deal, won't be made. It is just a matter of when.
Rockcliff's properties are incredibly valuable!
A large financial group has a longer term horizon in which to make an investment.
Rockcliff Metals will not be allowed to go bankrupt but the final takeover price may not be much.
And it likely won't be Hudbay making the deal in the short term. More likely, it will be the majority shareholder. They might like to act on such a move prior to Hudbay's pursuit of a similar action.
If this is the more likely scenario, then let's hope that this latest drilling campaign, may be the last. And I hope that Rockcliff Metals does discover something of some major significance. Then Hudbay might make a takeover bid, a little sooner and we retail shareholders, might just get, a little bit more!
Such a Greenstone bid, could come at any day!
That's their right!
Just a little more food for thought and with a little conjecture on my part!
After all, I just bought in recently, as cheaply as them!
No risk to me!
All the best! Java
