RE:RE:RE:RE:Great NewsAgree that the gold projects probably have zero value at this point.
LON is a private company and it looks they have missed their first scheduled payment in Decmeber to earn their 50% interest in Smith Creek (i.e. I haven't seen any announcment that the payment has been received). They don't appear to be the real deal so I think ICM still needs to find a real partner to work with on SC. Looks like back to the drawing board on SC.
Below is the scheduled payment schedule for LON from an earlier news release.
Date | Earn-In Payments (USD) |
On or before December 19, 2022 or as agreed by the parties | $1,750,000 |
On or before May 31, 2023 or as agreed by the parties | $1,250,000 |
On or before June 30, 2023 or as agreed by the parties | $1,500,000 |
On or before September 30, 2023 or as agreed by the parties | $1,100,000 |
TOTAL: | $5,600,000 |
At least Bonnie Clarie should be move ahead quickly once the merger has been completed by early to mid Q2. This does look like the real deal because people don't engage in these complex corporate transactions between publicly listed companies if there is no substance in the deal or an end game planned out. I feel confident that there is a substantial lithium resource at BC and potential offtake partners are waiting for the merger to be completed to do a deal.
