EV does have short selling from time to time but I suspect it is professionals that are participating in PP then shorting on market when price goes up to make a nickel or two ... they are safeguarded by the shares that they had bought on the PP......

.of course the rant re short sellers is pure speculation....   but sale by shareholders is guaranteed. Who else could be selling the shares.  If you own shares make sure your broker wont lend  (rent) them out to people who are shorting the market
