Permitting should be a comparitive breeze being that is next door to a mine that has been operating since the late 1960's. No native claims, no endangered plants/animals, or near population (NIMBY). I think clay has always had doubters. I think Century has proved it is a viable source of lithium. GM just stepped up with it biggest investment to this point for lithium and it was a clay asset. It is only a matter of time now.
IMO Century shareholders have a very strong position to demand a price for a buyout. I am hopeful to end up with Albemarle shares in the end but if they fail to step up I am 100% sure someone else will.
