China’s Largest Gold Mine found undersea bed of Shandong My previous post shows how these orogenic gold deposits are formed.....tectonic subduction involving the seabed.
Majestic gold mine is of orogenic origin , very near the coast and near the largest gold mine found in China just under the sea bed off the Shandong shoreline .
Note the seabed connection and why the Shandong Province is one of the best gold mining districts in the world.
I have been reviewing our gold mine, its geology , and the potential of the current open pit to be kept producing for another 30-40 years by going deeper and expanding its walls to form a super pit in which both the basement lodes and open pit dessiminated gold can be mined at the same time.
You will note that the Majestic pit was first mined underground and then a hybrid of open pit and underground.
Further, the dessiminated gold in the open pit is so widespread that selective mining is not necessary.
How do I Know this ?
Because tons mined and tons milled are the same ...,ie no dilution of mined ore needed.
Its why mining is so cheap for Majestic ..because you can recover economic gold wherever you place your shovel in the pit.
So, its load and go direct to the mill.....and that may last decades more
