However, since I am still completely out, no matter what turns up, if they don't get rid of Banditosa I am not getting back into this stock. I do however, as always, wish all those holding it great success.

I think that is 1 of 2 possibilities. The other is the possibility of a quick asset sale, especially Atlantica. Many investors have a hate-on (me included) for renewables so the sale would look like a positive.

Since doing the quick sell of the extra 3205 shares at $9.91 on Jan 11th, my wife & I have re-added 5280 shares at $9.48. I had posted that I would consider converting those 5280 shares iinto a trade if AQN jumped fairly quickly to $10. I gave it some serious thought this morning at $10.04 and decided the move has been slow and steady enough that it's worth hanging on for now. It's hard to resist the quick $3k profit but I suspect there's still some "quick" upside. I'll reconsider at $10.30 if it gets there. If it's the Atalntica sale that pushes it up, then I'll definitely hang on and I think the sale makes AQN a better company.

I agree with you that investors are expecting the KPC deal to fall apart and also agree that if it doesn't. then AQN is likely to go back down below $9.50.

Tricky stuff.

Take her easy

It is the only reasonable hypothesis I can come up with for the stock price moving ack up this soon. If the street is wrong and Kentucky goes ahead, I am betting we see another quick drop in the share price.
