LAC's President Talks GM Deal & Canadian Lithium Interests "........other interests starting up in Canada for Lithium Americas", as commented by Jon Evans.
FL's Lithium supply could likely end up going from the site in its finished product form to the General Motors battery suppliers.
It is likely that Frontier does Not require a supply agreement with any OEM.
Once LAC's President Jonathan Evans gets rolling on moving LAC's Canadian Lithium interests (LAC's Canadian interests in close proximity to Frontier's "Pennock" Lithium discovery area), Evans, a straight shooter, maintains somewhat a poker face, but it is obvious, you can tell, he will be gunning for Frontier Lithium in the not-too-distant future.
And, going forward, Evans will be proceeding with General Motors as his largest shareholder.
Evans and LAC has already acquired a Lithium junior in an "ALL-Share" buy-out transaction in recent months.
LAC is likely going for the big Lithium next, easily accessible, at surface, ultra low mining costs.
And it has been clear for several months at least, that Mary Barra is well aware of the $Billions of Lithium value that FL is discovering over the footprint of 30+ miles in the mining prolific RED Lake Ontario mining region.
GM will vastly secure and increase its Lithium supply chain once LAC acquires the FL high grade surface to depth Lithium assets.
GM anticipates the Company will be producing upwards to 1 MILLION electric vehicles in 2023.
Evans is certainly not collecting any dust under his shoes.
He doesn't dck around for a decade on a single project and Mary Barra can see it, thus, GM to become LAC's Lithium supply chain partner.
Evans is doing it, the way it is suppose to be done...............
The Geotechnical crew is enaged & drilling activities underway to prepare to lay down the plant foundations sometime in 2023, the owner-operator team assembled, road improvements taking place and a whole variety of other site activities.
As well, Evans has already engaged Bechtel to be its EPCM team.
LAC is moving on detailed engineering to get ready for heavy construction this year at the Nevada Lithium operations site.
Overall, LAC is moving ahead at speed and anticipates producing Lithium from the Nevada Lithium operations in 2 to 3 years, with finished product to be directly shipped to General Motors battery suppliers.
Concurrently, Evans is now placing some emphasis on LAC's Canadian interests in the Province of Ontario, a rapidly expanding region of discovery after discovery of surface high grade, high purity "Spodumene Lithium.
The Aussi's, who fully understand hard rock spodumene Lithium (Pilbara & Perth Billionaires) are already there and likely are also eyeing key takeover transactions of Ready-to-Mine Lithium deposits.
