RE:RE:For Anyone InterestedThis is informative. Having said that, and I am sure most investors here are also, I am focused on Figure 22.8 on page 553. Although, in my opinion at least, the table is missing a certain envelope encompassing the above-mentioned variations and fluctuations, it clearly identifies a trend, which would be the fundamental impetus behind our investment strategies. I clearly am not an expert in mine specific technical analysis, but I think I understand well cashflow projections. On the same topic, these “expert” analysts have been taking a hit on multiple fronts since the past few years have been messing with the cornerstones and underlying assumptions of their products. They all have been off by a long shot.
Regardless, the trend is clear from the chart(s). Without trying to explain all details, buy-in-large, two things can happen with the huge projected cashflow. One would be to take it and “use” it. i.e., REINVEST. I think this part doesn’t need any explaining, we all know what is happening. Alternatively, you could consider it as profit and distribute it as dividends. I am sure this will be on the menu at some point, but RF is far from being satisfied with the current state of development of his/our assets. We are still growing. Either way, we are getting richer, either by virtue of growing asset value through the process of reinvesting or by dividends. I am OK with both…
Yes, there is always a risk of unexpected events occurring, but you can prepare for and mitigate only risks that you know of and are under your control. Truly, when it comes to this business, there is only so much you can do, so be mindful when you invest here. As far as I am concerned, the risks here haven’t blown any fuses with me so I am optimistic about the technical and financial prospects but most importantly the management ‘s capacity to tackle any challenge the future might expose us to. If your assessment is similar to mine, invest here, if it isn’t, don’t.
