RE:RE:RE:RE:Reason to own ARX over TOU Off base again Gooner. Plant, property, equipment is also not a great metric to base any valuation to for an oil company. Why? Every piece of equipment plant/field is falling apart the second they splurge on it. It all requires intensive maintenance, constant upgrading, and once the field inevitably declines to nothing (they all do), the company is left with the remediation/abondonement liability. You ever been to a plant or field site and try to convince yourself it's prime real estate?
Plant/property/equipment: great for depreciation amortization purposes at tax time, not great for assigning meaningful valuation. IMO. As for drilling locations - give us all a break on that nonsense.
Clarity on Attachie is where the answer to the low buybacks lies. I expect them to release news on attachie spending tomorrow, undoubtedly some 100's of millions that were once slated for buybacks, now
its drill baby drill, Terry Anderson's dream to fruition.
