Stock Price HeadscratcherI am not one to care much about the daily variation in the stock price (not planning to sell shares anytime soon), but this drift downwards is hard to figure out. Either:
1. Someone knows something that we don't about the situation with the processing facility and is trying to sell in advance before the news gets out.
2. Someone (who both (1) already owns a lot of shares and (2) would be on the other side of an additional stock issuance) is trying to walk down the stock price to their greater economic advantage.
3. The "market" is increasingly worried that (1) there is some major issue with the processing facility's abiliy to produce and/or (2) there is some additional stock issuance coming.
As long as the MPF functions as expected (the biggest "if" at the moment), I think we should be in for one heck of a reversal upward in the coming weeks/months (though perhaps only after an additional stock sale has either occurred or definitely been taken off the table). If the MPF has significant issues though, then that is obviously a big problem all around. More than anything right now, we really need DME to deliver on that MPF. Just keep in mind that DME's ability to actually execute and deliver results is what we should care far more about than the daily stock price in the interim (though it can be painful to watch!).
