Along those lines, the longer the situation streches out with no news, the better for the longs in my view.
That is because I accept the reasoning that we are in a news blackout, given the lack of anything from the company since Dec, 8 or so.
I also think that this process will NECESSARILY take a long time. We are unlikely to get a substantial offer without competitive bidding, and the BOD cannot be convinced they have the best possible offer without competitive bidding. That means both Roche and Pfizer, as weill as others, need to have all avaialble data and proceed internally within their own management to make an offer. Then ONCY has to compare them.
But who knows? I do believe they are negotiating. Following my further speculation, longer is better for us. I do not think we will hear anything until perhaps mid May, three months hence.
