RE:RE:RE:Day trading This pattern doesn't seem to be happening today. Did you sell the early gains and now you are out?

the extra cash and I didn't want to weaken my position by selling a portion to raise
the cash for trading. After watching my energy stocks go up and down like yo yo's
on a string either daily or weekly, I had enough and at the first possible spike
sold out 50% of all positions. Then I waited until the inevitable selloff and rebought.
I have been doing this ever since that day and am ecstatic about the results. Its
released the hidden trader in me that I never realized and used to shy away from
out of fear and lack of confidence. I have never caught the top or the bottom on any
of my trades as it comes down to pure luck but I have never lost making a good
profit on the swings once I decided to try doing it. I have been investing for 40 yrs
and am retired now. I don't sit and watch the market all day long either. I have
missed my targets at the bottom and the top many times and simply adjusted my
entry and exit levels to complete the transaction. Still cameout with a decent
profit for my effort.
