RioTinto moving away from plasma torch for iron ore pellets Great news directly from Rio Tinto reporting that a combination of micro-wave furnace  and bio carbon binder opens up the way to carbon free steel.

After Vale ( working with Hydrogen) Rio Tinto breakthrough is another nail in the MEGA plasma torches sales...This sounds the death kneel of the old pelletizing iron ore furnaces...as anticipated.
