The Trust’s Canadian investments are made through a wholly owned Canadian corporation, Alaris Equity Partners Inc. and its American investments are made through two Delaware corporations, Alaris Equity Partners USA Inc., Salaris USA Royalty Inc., and their subsidiaries.

I think long term it will drive a better return for shareholders. However, short term, it reduces the cash flow they get from BCC since the prefs have a lower payment and yearly reset is only 1%.
