RE:Flying private is "like heroin" - Bill MaherLong ago, I flew on my company's GII for a many-legged tour of biz sites across the US. Four finance executives and me. The benefits vs commercial were enormous. We landed at small airports very close to the sites, saving a lot of time. Departures were a breeze, too: drive right up to the jet, get on board, and go. We even had the pilot do a loop around one site, tilting the aircraft, so we could see it better from the air. And cruising altitude was high and therefore smoother and faster. Absolutely everyone who could fly this way, would, once they've tried it--business people, tourists, everyone.
