.GM Ultium battery was developed by GM & LG.
Posco is supplying the cathode chemistry.
NMCA.
Livent supplying the Li Hydroxide.
Nano is also compatible with aluminum.
We know the "hydroxide" / "sulphate" problems.
That's fine, it's the known, available process.
What i like is, this validates Posco does not have a competitive process to M2CAM / One-Pot.
The DOD policy is Ultium must become applicable to different platforms.
GM obviously only has EV design so far, for Ultium.
Look @ Lithion & Koch's comment on Lithion Battery's mfgr & cell abilities.
Absolutely no way, Nano does not become a certifed supplier to Ultium, also for their DOD contracting.
So also expecting a Posco / Umicore/ Nano deal.
Especially with co-developer LG knowing it's a far greener supply-chain.
